A man is in a critical condition after a serious incident at a popular adventure sports centre in Melbourne.
A man in his forties is fighting for his life after suffering a while surfing at Melbourne’s Urbnsurf, Australia’s only commercially operating wave pool.
Police and paramedics were called to URBNSURF in Tulla marine at 11.30am on Friday to reports of an unresponsive man.
The surfer, believed to be aged in his 40s, has been taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition.
Ambulance Victoria said he has been treated for a medical condition and URBNSURF immediately closed the park.
A police investigation is also under way and Worksafe have been notified.
